Pre-Winter Basement Inspection

It's confirmed the 2014 winter season will begin December 21st. Without the right planning however, the season brings you problems. It causes breakage and snowy incidents in your home, especially in the basement.

The latest study shows winter storms are the third largest cause of catastrophic losses (Property Casualty 360, October 2014), that account for almost 22 % of all homeowners' insurance settlements.

Winter season causes public alarms. Early this year, barriers surrounded 6th Avenue in Manhattan. The set-up would protect pedestrians and vehicles from unforeseen electric streams via the sidewalk gates and close-by buildings (Live Science, February 2014).
